When combined with the company’s innovative, green-colored Smart Clamps™, these jump starters provide intuitive, foolproof battery jump starts because they auto-detect polarity and adjust accordingly. The average consumer finds a portable jump starter both confusing and intimidating to use, as there is a real fear of sparks, reversing polarities, or damaging a vehicle’s electrical system when attaching the battery clamps. The CAROSS Smart Connect technology and matching green clamps simply eliminate the problem, ensuring the safest connection possible. “Drivers like to be prepared for roadside emergencies,” said Tate Morgan, Petra President. “CAROSS, with its revolutionary, user-friendly technology, takes the risk factor out of the equation. As people gear up for their road trips, retailers in the 12-volt space should consider adding CAROSS to their lineup of automotive accessories.” In addition to the distinctive green battery cables and clamps, the next-gen CAROSS jump starters feature bi-directional, super-fast 65W PD charging. Most have a Boost feature that will jump start dead batteries under 2 volts, and one model even includes an air compressor. CAROSS also offers more traditional portable jump starters with red and black cables, but even these use patented safety jumper clamps with integrated safety precautions. All CAROSS jump starters include power bank functionality, a smart display, a multi-mode LED light, and at least two USB charging ports. And for consumers needing a compact tire inflator combined with a power bank, CAROSS offers that combination too.
