Another standard feature will stop the engine after a programmed length of time if the standard ignition is not engaged, so owners aren’t likely to run out of gas if they forget the car is running.
The top-of-the-line units like the Python PS3000 are operated through smartphone apps and offer control of standard remote start features. They also interact with optional modules like GPS tracking, SmartSchedule, vehicle status, roadside assistance, parked car finder and more.
