Petra Industries, a leading national wholesale distributor of consumer electronics, custom installation products, mobile audio/video accessories and appliance connection supplies, received an American Marketing Association Award of Excellence on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at the Oklahoma City American Marketing Association Awards ceremony.
Judged by a panel of marketing professionals, Petra’s 2009 website overhaul won the award in the Single Marketing Tactic category based on strategy, tactics, use of budget and tangible, measurable results. Petra’s submission for the competition showcased its feature-rich website project that resulted in major cosmetic redesign as well as a complete overall of the end-user functionality, providing a more customer-centric experience with new and improved features and streamlined content for Petra’s existing or prospective customers. Features such as the online catalogs, online customer applications and the Petra Pulse and 5-in-5 video segments are some of the many enhancements to the Petra.com website.
