Petra Industries, the nation’s leading wholesale distributor of consumer electronics, custom installation products, mobile audio/video accessories and appliance connection supplies, announced today that their web marketing team has won the Award of Excellence and Best of the Best Award from the Oklahoma City Chapter of the American Marketing Association.
Innovation took center stage on Thursday, June 9, 2011 as the Oklahoma City Chapter of the American Marketing Association held its 2011 Excellence In Marketing Awards to honor local marketing teams who showcased effective marketing through stated objectives that produced measurable, tangible results. A panel of marketing professionals evaluated all entries from eight separate categories based on criteria such as understanding of the initial problem, established objectives, strategy, tactics, use of available budget and quantifiable results.
Petra’s submission for the competition was its innovative Application Management System (NAMS) entered under the Single Marketing Tactic category. The Award of Excellence was given to Petra for successfully remodeling and streamlining the entire Petra application approval process into the consumer electronics distribution industry’s first complete fully electronic customer application system. Recognized for the increases in accuracy and speed of application approval, high customer conversion rates and rise in overall customer service satisfaction, the NAMS project was also given the Best of the Best Award as Oklahoma City’s top marketing accomplishment for 2010.
