Petra Industries, the nation’s leading wholesale distributor of consumer electronics, custom installation products, mobile audio/video accessories and appliance connection supplies, made a stop at the GEICO AMA EnduroCross at Oklahoma’s Legendary Lazy E Arena on Saturday, August 14th, 2010 to support its partnership with Pioneer Electronics, an event co-sponsor, and Edmond-based Brian’s Automotive Service.

The GEICO AMA EnduroCross, presented by E3 Spark Plugs, is the toughest indoor off-road race series in America where the world’s top riders take on a virtual motorcycle off-road, indoor paradise simulating Mother Nature’s toughest elements – log jams, trees, water-crossings, boulder mountains, rocks and dirt – and compete for the AMA #1 Plate.

Petra arrived at the event in style via a 1999 H1 Hummer fully equipped with Pioneer’s latest offerings in mobile A/V units, speakers and amps. Jimmy Chauffe, Pioneer’s District Sales Manager, Brian Thompson, owner of Edmond-based Brian’s Automotive Service, a long-time Petra dealer, and Mike Cullers, Petra’s 12Volt account manager were on hand to answer questions about Pioneer products and advise attendees on the special deals that could be purchased through Brian’s. Pioneer hats and t-shirts were also distributed to attendees throughout the event.

“This was a great event for Petra to not only support one of our best local dealers in Brian’s but to support our long-standing partnership with Pioneer Electronics, said Steve Lukowski, Director of Merchandising for Petra. “We’ve been distributing Pioneer products for over 8 years now and our 12Volt category has definitely taken off over the last few years thanks to the high quality, high-performance products Pioneer continues to deliver for car audio enthusiasts.”
