EDMOND, OK—Petra Industries, the nation’s leading wholesale distributor of consumer electronics, wireless, custom installation products, mobile audio/video accessories and appliance connection supplies, announced today the acquisition of a new property at 3400 S. Kelly in Edmond, less than one mile from the current Petra headquarters.
“This is an exciting time for Petra, the easy access of a new facility in such close proximity to our current headquarters, just a 2 minute drive away, will allow for a smooth transition as we expand our operations,” said Bill Stewart, CEO and Founder of Petra Industries. “Dealers have relied on us for world-class service for 30-years, as we incorporate state-of-the-art distribution center technologies into this new facility we’ll deliver an even higher level of service to our customers.”
The new property includes 525,000 square feet of warehouse space. Combined with company’s current 115,000 square feet, Petra has a total of 640,000 square feet of usable property available. During the first phase of expansion Petra will move all distribution center functions, including Shipping, Receiving and Will-Call into 275,000 square feet of the new property. Operations are scheduled to begin in the new building during the second quarter of 2015.

Petra’s current location at 2101 S. Kelly in Edmond, will continue to be home for the office headquarters and will also house Petra’s Reverse Logistics operations.
