Petra Industries, the nations’ leading wholesale distributor of consumer electronics, custom installation products, mobile audio/video accessories and appliance connection supplies, today presented $25,000 to the grand prize winner of its 25th Anniversary $25,000 Sweepstakes.
Throughout 2010, Petra has celebrated its 25th anniversary by giving away special prizes tied to its sweepstakes including Toshiba® LCD HDTVs, Apple® iPad® devices, JVC® Everio Digital video cameras, Amazon® Kindle™ readers and more. Thousands of dealers, e-tailers and integrators nationwide were eligible for the grand prize, but it was Juan Carlos Vallejo, owner of Integrated Control in Palmetto Bay, Florida, who was the lucky winner of $25,000 and a free trip to CES 2011 in Las Vegas. The drawing was held on December 16, and Vallejo was notified of his good fortune by Petra a day later.
“When I started my business, Petra was the first company that gave me an opportunity to introduce myself to the consumer electronics market, and I will never forget that,” said Vallejo. “Their attention to customer service has always been outstanding, and I feel like I’m visiting with friends every time I work with them…Thank you again for this great surprise!”
The formal announcement of Mr. Vallejo as Petra’s Grand Prize winner and $25,000 check presentation was held at the 2011 CES Show in the Consumer Technology Publishing Group booth right before the show opened.
