This often involves using a variety of specialized, small kitchen appliances. So stock the ones that are most in-demand! ## Small kitchen appliances: Goodbye dry turkey, hello happy guests A dry turkey is a home cook’s worst nightmare. Put that fear of ruining a holiday to rest with a **turkey fryer**. Your customers can fry an entire 20-pound turkey in a little over an hour or a 6-pound chicken in less than 30 minutes. These types of fryers help lock in the natural juices and deliver a taste about which people rave. And speaking of fryers, home cooks are snapping up one of the latest trends in cooking—**[air fryers](https://order.petra.com/product/?search=air%20fryer)**! These countertop units are a great way to fry a wide variety of foods without adding extra calories or fat. Instead of immersion in an oil bath, foods are surrounded by rapid hot-air circulation for crispy, healthy results. ## Slow cookers work while customers have fun A**[slow cooker](https://order.petra.com/products/kitchen/specialty-appliances/slow-cookers)**is one of the best time-saving accessories for holiday cooking. All your customers need to do is fill it up, turn it on and go have fun. Upon return, the house is filled with yummy smells and the food is ready to eat. Slow cookers accommodate a variety of delicious holiday foods. Foods like soups, stews, roasts, and an unlimited number of main dish recipes. ## Small kitchen appliances: electric skillets for quick meals An **[electric skillet](https://order.petra.com/product/?search=skillet)** is ideal for the holidays when there are often more food dishes to prepare than there is room on the stove. Electric skillets heat evenly, stay at just the right temperature and cook a lot of food at one time. They have tempered glass lids so home cooks can easily track the cooking progress. They also have cool-touch handles for safety and nonstick cooking surfaces to speed cleanup. During the holidays, there’s nothing like the smell of pancakes, French toast, eggs, and hash browns being prepared on a skillet any time day or night! ## Give your customers real value with cooking sets There’s nothing like the holidays to bring out the shortcomings in your customers’ kitchen cabinets. Pots and pans normally adequate during the year become woefully inadequate during the holidays. **[Cooking sets](https://order.petra.com/product/?search=cooking%20set)** have graduated sizes and often include both pots and pans. Unlike cast iron, cooking sets from Petra are dishwasher safe for easy cleanup. Your customers will love cooking sets for boiling and steaming vegetables, deep-frying, braising meat, or making tasty sauces, soups, and stews for the holidays. ## Small kitchen appliances: mix it up with kitchen mixers Holidays are the time to whip up delicious desserts and attempt those more difficult recipes. So [**kitchen mixers**—both **stand mixers**](https://order.petra.com/product/?search=mixer) and **[hand mixers](https://order.petra.com/product/?search=hand%20mixer)**—are must-haves. Hand mixers are ideal for smaller, lighter mixing jobs because of their ergonomic styling and lighter weight. Stand mixers are kitchen beasts, tackling bigger batches and stiffer mixes. Also, consider stocking other small kitchen appliances like **[food choppers](https://order.petra.com/product/?search=chopper)** to chop nuts and other ingredients, **[food grinders](https://order.petra.com/product/?search=grinder)** to mince herbs, grind coffee or meats, and **[food processors](https://order.petra.com/product/?search=food%20processor)** to blend and pulverize all kinds of foods. ## Setting the perfect holiday table by way of the kitchen There always seem to be new food prep products being brought to market. Make sure you check Petra’s **collection of kitchen appliances and accessories** to see what’s the latest, hottest products.
