Heart Health Month with Omron

Omron is Keeping Customers Healthy Year-Round

It’s no secret that being healthy is a major concern for most people. Annually in the U.S. alone, about 697,000 people, or 1 in every 5 deaths, is due to heart disease each year. That’s a huge number – especially when it’s possible to avoid heart disease by taking a more active role in our own health. Omron’s goal is to give customers the ability to monitor their bodies, so they know immediately when something isn’t right.

February is American Heart Health Month making it the ideal time to focus on cardiovascular health. Hypertension, more commonly known as high blood pressure, is a leading factor for heart disease and strokes, which makes it a great place to start working toward better health with Omron’s help.

Healthy Habits

Per the CDC, there are two ways to help with improving heart health. The first is choosing healthy habits: that means healthy foods and drinks, maintaining a healthy weight by getting regular physical activity, and avoiding smoking. The other is keeping on top of medical conditions. This can be checking your cholesterol on a regular schedule, maintaining diabetes and medicine, and controlling blood pressure.

To help your customers manage their blood pressure, Omron has a series of blood pressure monitors. They have upper arm cuffs as well as wrist cuffs for individual preferences.

Monitors like the Omron 3 Series Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor are designed to be portable, but still clinically validated accurate. It can store 60 blood pressure readings for 1 user and fits adult wrists. For those who prefer the cuff around their arm Omron ComFit™ Cuffs, like their 9-In. to 17-in. Easy-Wrap ComFit™ Cuff, are compatible for the alternate option. They’re pre-formed for comfortable placement on the arm.

Healthy Body

Another way for customers to keep their heart healthy is to maintain their bodies. Knowledge is key, but it’s more than just weight. Omron body composition scales tell a comprehensive story of a body to help the user meet their fitness goals.

The Omron Full-Body Composition Monitor Bathroom Scale measures body fat, visceral fat, BMI, skeletal muscle, resting metabolism, body age, and body weight. The Body Composition 330-Lb. Capacity Bathroom Scale stores up to 120 total readings to track up to 4 users so the whole family can improve their health.

Knowing how their body fares means that customers can adjust their habits accordingly, making better choices and improving their heart health with Omron’s products. Staying healthy can be difficult, but with goals in mind and knowledge of their bodies it is a little easier.
