DIY Security

There are a couple of reasons why most people avoid surveillance and security systems: They’re perceived to be tricky to use and complex to install. But who says surveillance systems have to be a complicated business?

We’re in the wireless age and DIY security systems and cameras are easier than ever to install, and they’re also a lot less expensive! So the real question is, why aren’t all of your customers using them? Why aren’t you?

Wireless IP Cameras
For those who are new to the security game, a wireless IP camera is the perfect starter piece. They can be set up anywhere (homes, nurseries, at an elderly parents’ home, offices, garages, outside, etc.) and can be accessed from pretty much any smartphone or mobile device connected to the Internet. Whatever your business, these cameras are great for protecting your customers’ favorite people and places. Parents can set up a wireless IP camera and monitor children’s activities from a different room or even out of state! Some cameras even have motion triggers, so parents can be notified when a child gets home from school or if a four-legged friend gets too rowdy or enters a room he shouldn’t. Some IP cameras like the Foscam FI8918W even allow users to pan or tilt the camera remotely from their mobile device for a better view! These cameras could also be used for more traditional uses such as monitoring front and back entrances, garages or rooms with valuables. No need to get inside the walls for wiring here. All users will need is the IP camera and Internet connection.

DIY Alarm Systems
For customers seeking a more traditional security system, direct them to wireless DIY alarm systems like the Air-AlarmII or Air-AlarmIIE from SecurityMan. Both systems include a wireless LED touchpad security alarm system kit, are user-friendly and include doorbell, siren and motion detection. Extremely easy to use and extremely cost effective, these systems support up to 60 wireless sensors and 15 wireless defense zones. Because the entire system is completely wireless, users won’t have to pay to install it or pay a monthly monitoring fee.  Up to five phone numbers can be set for auto alarm call, so multiple users can be notified right away if any sensors are triggered. These systems can also be armed and disarmed by remote control, keypad or phone call. The trickiest part (if there has to be something not completely awesome to tout) of installing these systems might be mounting the wireless door sensor, doorbell and keypad. But fortunately, everything needed (like double sided tape and mounting brackets) are included in the box and SecurityMan even has step-by-step installation videos. And don’t worry, the longest video is only about 5 minutes long! No strings (ahem, wires) attached here–except to plug in the touchpad.

For your customers, protecting their property has always been important.  For your business, offering home or office protection has never been even easier not only on your wallet but also on the overall installation effort.
